Goals:

• Develop care and psychosocial support interventions aimed at dependent people in the domestic environment. 
• Apply psychosocial support strategies adapted to the development of the activities planned in an established program.
• To analyze and develop, in the context of care for people, the appropriate communication strategies to promote the daily functioning and social relationship of users with special communication difficulties, managing the available resources and alternative systems that are appropriate.

This course is primarily aimed at those who wish to pursue a career in home-based social and healthcare services, as well as those already working in this field who want to acquire the necessary theoretical training. It will also be beneficial to those caring for elderly or dependent individuals.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE, COMPETENCE AND RECOGNITION BY ECTS CREDIT

The University of La Laguna, through the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and University Extension, will issue a certificate of attendance to all those who attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled in-person class hours. Likewise, those who successfully complete the independent student work will receive a certificate of attendance and achievement, which is also recognized for 3 ECTS credits.
