The Spanish Language and Literature exam will kick off the extraordinary session of the University Entrance Exams (PAU).

The extraordinary sitting of the University Entrance Exams (PAU) will be held in the Canary Islands from tomorrow, Wednesday, July 2nd, until Friday, July 4th. In the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it is coordinated by the University of La Laguna and has 923 registrations for the general phase and another 364 who will only take the specific phase. Students are to be in their classrooms at 9:00 a.m. to take the first scheduled exam, Spanish Language and Literature II, half an hour later.

The second exam tomorrow will be at 12:00, for Foreign Language II, and in the afternoon, the third exam at 4:00 PM will be a choice between History of Spain or History of Philosophy. This first day of exams is reserved for the general phase, which all students must take; July 3rd and 4th will be dedicated to the specific exams for the different specializations and electives.

The exams in Tenerife will be held at various facilities on the Guajara Campus (César Manrique General Lecture Hall and its Annex, the General Library and the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism). In La Palma, it will be the IES Alonso Pérez Díaz; in La Gomera, the IES San Sebastián de La Gomera; and in El Hierro, the CEP Valverde.

Grades and extraordinary pre-registration

Provisional grades will be published online on July 11th from 10:00 AM. On that same day, and until July 15th at 10:00 AM, it will be possible to submit an appeal against the grades. Final grades will be published on July 18th. The deadline to request to view any of your exams will be from July 21st at 10:00 AM until July 22nd at the same time, while the viewing appointments will be scheduled for July 24th and 25th.

Those who pass this exam will be able to access the extraordinary pre-registration process to apply for a place at the University of La Laguna. The application period for this will be open from 10:00 a.m. on August 26th until 2:00 p.m. on August 28th. The list of accepted applicants and the waiting list will be published on September 2nd, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The claim will be available from 10:00 on September 2nd until 14:00 on September 3rd and registration can be formalized from 10:00 until 23:59 on September 5th.
