The Revista Canaria de Estudios Ingleses has been published since 1980, thanks to the endeavour and collaborative work of the Departamento de Filología Inglesa y Alemana at the Universidad de La Laguna, as well as to the thorough execution of the Servicio de Publicaciones of this University. The contributions of many internationally prestigious authors in the diverse fields of English studies appear in RCEI’s volumes. The main objective of this journal is the publication of quality research articles that  promote scientific debate in these various fields of English Studies.
