Open Days at the University of La Laguna

Content and objective: This activity, promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Students, aims to publicize the academic and service offerings of the ULL to students who are finishing their Baccalaureate or a Higher Level Vocational Training Cycle and to all those who, through other access routes, are thinking of accessing a university degree next year (over 25 and 45 years old, over 40 years old with accredited professional experience, university graduates, etc.).

These days include an invitation to the students' families to an in-person information session in the afternoon.

Information sessions from the University of La Laguna to educational centers

Date: Virtual sessions on March 10, 11 and 13 in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and La Palma, and on March 23, 24 and 25 in Tenerife. In-person sessions on April 14 in La Gomera and on April 16 in El Hierro.

Content and objective: The information sessions run from February to April, with a specific program designed for the families of prospective students. Their aim is to present the undergraduate degree programs and support services available to students at the University of La Laguna (ULL), both to prospective students and their families. These sessions offer an opportunity for students and families to ask and answer any questions they may have about what the University of La Laguna offers. Schools can participate by registering for these sessions. Families will be invited to separate sessions from those held for schools.

Information session: Accessing the University of La Laguna: how to apply for a place in a degree program during the "Extraordinary Pre-registration" period«

Date: July 9, 2025. Online session: Registration form (open until July 7 at 23:59 hours).

Content and objective: To resolve any doubts that may arise in future students of our university regarding the procedures that are activated with pre-registration (application for places) and registration (publication and meaning of the admission and waiting lists, registration calendars, amounts, etc.).

Interested students must register individually using the form provided for this purpose.

Technical guidance meetings in the Canary Islands

The orientation meetings are jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Universities of the Government of the Canary Islands and the public universities of the Canary Islands.

The overall objective of these annual meetings is to share a day of work and information with educational guidance professionals from secondary schools in the Canary Islands. The aim is to provide a space and time to learn about and reflect on issues that affect the educational transition experienced by students in upper secondary education (Bachillerato) and advanced vocational training (FP Grado Superior) before entering university. Furthermore, the goal is for guidance counselors to share their opinions and raise questions related to university and university access.

Collaborative environment "Space for Guidance"«

This university provides guidance counselors in educational and vocational training centers with an environment on its virtual campus called “Space for orientation”"with the purpose of:"

1) Establish a communication channel between secondary schools and the University of La Laguna (ULL) to:

  • To foster a space for dialogue and reflection on higher education and access to university studies.
  • To share and enhance knowledge and communication between the guidance teaching staff and this university.
  • To understand the demands of the guidance teaching staff in relation to their work in pre-university guidance.

2) To provide a space to access information about the University of La Laguna, relating to:

  • The new routes and the process of accessing the ULL.
  • The degrees offered by the ULL and the training pathways for postgraduate and doctoral studies.
  • Services and support from the ULL
  • Program of information and guidance activities of the ULL.
