Procedure 03 and Procedure 16: Quality assurance of training programs

The implementation of Procedure 16 "Analysis and measurement of results" of the SGIC in Procedure 03 "Quality assurance of training programs" has involved the preparation of two reports relating to the academic results obtained in the Degree in Biology in the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 courses.

Procedure 05: Student orientation and teaching development

The implementation of Procedure 05 has involved the development and implementation of Guidance and Tutoring Action Plan which aims to address the needs and challenges that university students face during their studies. The activities carried out during the 2012-2013 academic year and their evaluation are presented below:

Procedure 09: Handling incidents, complaints, suggestions and compliments

Procedure 16: Analysis and measurement of results

The implementation of Procedure 16 of the Internal Quality Assurance System (Procedure for the Analysis and Measurement of Results) has allowed for the analysis of the effectiveness of the two collaborative environments managed by the Faculty of Biology for guidance and information purposes, both for students (Biology Faculty Information Point) and for faculty (Biology Faculty). This analysis was carried out by measuring the number of queries/visits made by users throughout the past academic year.

Procedure 20: Stakeholder satisfaction

The implementation of Procedure 20 of the SGIC "For the analysis of stakeholder satisfaction" has allowed the following satisfaction surveys to be carried out:

Student Satisfaction Report for New and Continuing Students

The New Student Satisfaction Questionnaire has been designed to gather the opinions of students beginning their studies at the center on various aspects: the recruitment process, degree program selection and enrollment, and their experience in university settings. The Current Student Satisfaction Questionnaire has been developed to collect the satisfaction of current students on issues related to: the curriculum, support and guidance services, infrastructure, equipment and service hours, the communication channels used to disseminate information about the center, degree programs and services, and the results obtained in the previous academic year.

Both questionnaires were carried out by the Evaluation and Improvement Unit of the Vice-Rectorate for Institutional Quality and Educational Innovation
