The Faculty of Pharmacy building complies with the provisions of Law 51/2003 of December 2 (Official State Gazette, December 3, 2003), on equal opportunities, non-discrimination, and accessibility for people with disabilities. Therefore, the building has access and ramps for wheelchair users. Furthermore, it has implemented the security measures required by current regulations.

Supervised Internships and External Internships:
The existing agreements with public and private institutions provide a good range of Supervised and External Internships (which are intended to be improved and/or expanded each year) that are aligned with the training program and allow students to establish initial contact with the professional world. The entities and institutions with which the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of La Laguna (ULL) has signed the corresponding agreements for the Supervised Internship course are listed in Table 7.1.

We have 121 pharmacies and 5 hospital pharmacy services in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and 92 pharmacies and 7 hospital pharmacy services in the province of Las Palmas that participate in the Supervised Practices program. This allows us to maintain a supply that exceeds demand, which will enable us in the future to select centers based on the quality of the services offered.

In addition, students can carry out external internships in the Drug Information Centers (CIM) of the Official Colleges of Pharmacists, in the provinces of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; in the health areas of the Municipalities of Candelaria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna and in the Association for the Treatment of Drug Addiction (ANTAD).
