The Illustrious, Dean, Nighttime, and Wandering Tuna of Medicine of the University of La Laguna has returned stronger than ever, without a doubt, after a few years of hiatus. Since the 2011/2012 academic year, our family has continued to grow, and we now have more than 20 young university students who continue to perpetuate this centuries-old Spanish tradition.

Music, culture, travel… all fueled by the friendship that binds us, are some of our core values, which we share both in our beloved city and abroad. We're not just seen at weddings, baptisms, and first communions; we've also enjoyed many magical nights out with our classmates, and traveled to numerous countries: the United States, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Hungary, the Czech Republic… whether to see the world or to bring home the occasional award from various international festivals.

And we not only have a past, dating back to 1969, but as you can see on our social media, we have a strong present and future, because as soon as one course ends we start planning the next one and we also have the honor of announcing that we are beginning preparations for our first half-century of existence, which we will celebrate in 2019.
