The Spanish University Exchange System (SICUE) allows students from Spanish universities to complete part of their studies at another university, with guarantees of academic recognition and credit transfer, as well as alignment with their curriculum. This program recognizes the educational value of exchange, enabling students to experience different teaching systems, including internships, as well as the diverse social and cultural aspects of other Autonomous Communities.

Bilateral agreements will be established between the various universities to determine the departments, degree programs, number of places offered, and duration of the exchange. Student mobility will be based on the Academic Agreement. This document will describe the activities to be carried out at the host institution, which will be automatically recognized by the home institution.

The stay at the host university will last from 5 to 9 months.

To be eligible for a SICUE exchange program, undergraduate students must have completed 60 credits at their home university and be enrolled in an additional 30 credits. Candidate selection for exchange programs will be based on academic merit and the justification and relevance of the proposed mobility program. Student selection will be based on two criteria: 1) Grade point average (GPA) and 2) Supporting documentation.
