Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy

The Student Delegation of Psychology and Speech Therapy at the University of La Laguna is the highest representation of students of the Psychology and Speech Therapy degrees.

Basically, our mission is none other than to safeguard the rights of students, and to try to improve their stay here both culturally and academically, as well as enriching university life, from the first day of class until they graduate as Psychologists and Speech Therapists.

It is made up of students who try to make the University work better, who believe it is worthwhile to dedicate a small effort to try to make life here more bearable, in the same way that we consider that the University is not like a school to come and go to, but rather a place where one can leave their mark.

What do we do at the Delegation?

From the Student Delegation, we try to promote all the activities that take place on campus, but we especially participate in the Psychology and Speech Therapy Student Congress, which is held during the week of our Faculty's Patron Saint. Similarly, we try to collaborate with the annual Bike Day event. Just as it has its fun side, it also has its boring side, so to speak. As the highest student representative, we are expected (and we strive to do so) to participate in all the Faculty Committees and Boards as student representatives.
If you have any suggestions for activities that could be carried out, you can send them to us by email at dapsico@ull.es

How can I become part of the Delegation?

As you've probably already realized, the delegation is "all of us." The more actively we participate, the easier and more productive the time we dedicate to all these activities will be, and the better our coexistence will be.

Oh, we almost forgot! Our mascot would also like to say a few words of introduction:

Hello! My name is Lopsi!
A few years ago, I entered a competition to represent this Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy, its faculty, administrative and support staff, and, of course, its students. And now I'm part of this great family!
With my purple hair, I want to distinguish this Faculty from the rest of the Faculties at the ULL. The four hairs that grow from my crown have been carefully and lovingly combed to represent the students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of both degrees (Psychology and Speech Therapy).

And the brain, my Human Anatomy teacher lent it to me for the occasion.

That's all for now, goodbye.
