Guidance and Tutoring Action Plan (POAT)
The aim of this plan is to improve the organization and development of the center's guidance and tutoring activities. It is aimed at all students in the Psychology and Speech Therapy degrees, with a special focus on first-year students during their adaptation and integration phase at the center. It includes various activities, such as informative talks and group workshops, tutoring sessions, student-mentor sessions, academic coordination activities, and more.
Since 2013, the Faculty has offered a Mentoring Program, where senior students mentor first-year students who request it. This means that from the beginning of the first semester, a student who has just started their Psychology or Speech Therapy degree can receive personalized guidance from someone completing their degree. Mentor-mentee pairings take place during the first month of the first semester.
The activities that take place are announced in advance through the POAT virtual classroom for each grade.
The POAT coordinator professor at this Faculty is: Helena Bonache Recio (hbonache@ull.es).
The POAT tutor for 1st year Psychology is: Elena Rodríguez Naveiras (naveiras@ull.es), and Elena Lorenzo Sánchez (elorenzs@ull.es).
The tutor teacher of POAT for 1st year of Speech Therapy is: Rut Correia Delgado (rcorreia@ull.es).
