Title Description

The proposed Degree in Fine Arts tries to adapt to the peculiarities provided by the tradition and idiosyncrasy of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of La Laguna and the cultural and socioeconomic reality of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. It reflects the cultural diversity of the artistic field and the critical discourse that surrounds it. It introduces new creators into the dynamic professional world who develop plastic works in all types of formats and cultural spaces. To this end, the models proposed in the White Paper on Fine Arts, Design and Conservation and Restoration are collected: university models based on artistic experimentation and research, and university models with a more professional orientation.

Professions for which the degree qualifies:

• Visual artist in all creative techniques and media
• Creative in the audiovisual field and new image technologies
• Cultural manager, advisor, artistic director, critic, communicator and cultural analyst, programmer, curator, and other activities linked to the culture industry
• Teacher in the subjects of his professional field
• Other artistic specialist professionals: Illustrator, animation and comic artist; artistic editor and art dissemination materials designer, environment and exhibition designer, installation of exhibitions or artistic installations, scenographic projects and ephemeral design
