Competencies

Competencies are the set of knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be acquired by students throughout the degree, aimed at preparing them for the exercise of professional activities.

Basic skills

  • CB1 – That students have demonstrated possession and understanding of knowledge in an area of study that builds upon general secondary education, and is usually found at a level that, while supported by advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects involving knowledge from the forefront of their field of study
  • CB2 – That students know how to apply their knowledge to their work or vocation in a professional manner and possess the skills that are usually demonstrated through the development and defense of arguments and the resolution of problems within their area of study
  • CB3 – That students have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (usually within their area of study) to make judgments that include reflection on relevant social, scientific or ethical issues
  • CB4 – That students can convey information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
  • CB5 – That students have developed the learning skills necessary to undertake further studies with a high degree of autonomy

General skills

  • G1 – To know and use Information and Communication Technologies applied to the field of Labor Relations
  • G2 – Ability to apply local, regional, national and international regulations and legislation in the field of Labor Relations
  • G3 – Understand and apply basic information search and management tools in the field of Labor Relations
  • G4 – Understand, analyze and evaluate theories, results and developments in the field of Labor Relations
  • G5 – Solving problems and making decisions in the field of Labor Relations

  • E1 – Be able to convey and communicate in writing and orally using the appropriate terminology and techniques of labor relations
  • E2 – Be able to understand and formulate appropriate basic legal decisions and solutions
  • E3 – To be able to know, understand and apply the general Spanish legal framework to better understand the legal framework of labor relations
  • E4 – Knowing how to select and manage employment information and documentation
  • E5 – Be able to develop labor relations management projects in companies, organizations and public administrations
  • E6 – Ability to perform analyses and diagnoses, provide support and make decisions in labor law and social security matters
  • E7 – Knowing how to apply techniques and make decisions regarding human resource management
  • E8 – Ability to develop advisory, representation and negotiation functions in different areas of labor relations
  • E9 – Be able to develop, implement and evaluate territorial strategies for socio-economic promotion and labor market integration
  • E10 – Be able to interpret data and indicators and apply quantitative, qualitative, evaluation and auditing techniques in the field of labor relations
  • E11 – Ability to prepare, develop and evaluate occupational and continuing training plans in the regulated and non-regulated fields
  • E12 – To know the technical and legal aspects of occupational risk prevention and to know how to manage prevention activities
  • E13 – Be able to critically analyze the decisions made by the agents involved in labor relations
  • E14 – To be able to understand and interrelate the different disciplines that shape labor relations at the national and international levels
  • E15 – Communicate orally and in writing in English basic concepts related to the field of labor relations and human resources
