Agreements

The ULL's Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization is responsible for developing, negotiating, and processing agreements with foreign institutions.

The process, which aims to establish specific collaboration agreements, begins with the signing of a General Action Protocol, typically lasting four years. This document covers a broad scope of cooperation and specifies the common objectives of both institutions. The process culminates with the establishment of specific agreements or conventions promoted by members of the various ULL bodies (Departments, Faculties, Institutes, Research Groups, etc.).
For the ULL, the signing of agreements, as an integral part of its Internationalization Policy, is of vital importance as it allows for the promotion of all academic, cultural, scientific, and other cooperative activities. These include, for example:

Mobility of undergraduate students, PDI and PAS.

The development of joint research and/or academic development projects.

The establishment of double degrees.

Aside from these activities, which are a regular part of inter-university relations, agreements also facilitate innovative initiatives that generate new training and research opportunities for the university community.
Currently, the ULL maintains active agreements with 452 institutions (299 of them with Erasmus agreements) in 59 countries.

If your institution proposes to sign an agreement using its own document templates, these must be sent to the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization via the email address oriconve@ull.es for review and request for approval by the Legal Department of the ULL.
