Internationalization of
Campus

Campus internationalization is a process that fosters cultural and academic exchange through experiences in both formal and informal settings. To this end, activities are promoted that facilitate interaction between students, teaching and research staff, and the rest of the university community, both local and international, creating spaces for mutual exchange. These initiatives integrate academic, professional, social, and cultural dimensions, enriching the comprehensive education of students, promoting the internationalization of teaching and research staff, and strengthening the global reach of the entire university community.

AEGEE-Tenerife Cultural Activities Program

AEGEE-Tenerife activities include a series of environmental and cultural hiking trails, city tours, language exchanges, stargazing, and other fantastic experiences for the integration of international mobility students with local students. These activities not only allow participants to become more familiar with the wonders of the Canary Islands' natural and cultural heritage, but also highlight the connection between culture, nature, and the academic and practical work carried out at the University of La Laguna, all while making new friends and enjoying their experience to the fullest.

Africa Campus

A commitment to knowledge, dialogue and cooperation with Africa

The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization of the University of La Laguna actively collaborates in the coordination of the research seminars and the cultural seminars of the seventh edition of CampusÁFRICA, a high-impact international program that promotes the convergence of science, culture, and cooperation in the Atlantic-African space.

CampusÁFRICA is an initiative managed by the Canary Islands Foundation for the Control of Tropical Diseases (FUNCCET), with the participation of multiple African and European academic and scientific institutions, and held at the ULL. The campus draws on the academic tradition and the privileged natural environment of our university, the oldest institution in the African Atlantic.
