    Specific admission and scoring system

    The admission profile for this Master's degree is based on the previous training received for undergraduate or graduate degrees in Physics, or in other Experimental or Technical Sciences (including Computer Science).

    In the case of students who are not Graduates or Bachelors in Physics, it will be required that they have completed at least 30 credits in the field of Physics that include the content and skills of the following core Physics subjects: Basic Physics, Mechanics and Waves, Thermodynamics, Optics, Electromagnetism

    The average grade of the degree required for admission It is 6.5 out of 10 or its equivalent in foreign rating systems .

    The body responsible for admission that will evaluate the applications will be the Academic Committee of the degree, whose composition is determined in article 30 of the Regulations for Official Master's Degree Courses at the University of La LagunaArticle 31 of the aforementioned regulation states that the proposal for admission of students is one of the functions of the Academic Commission.

    Scale

    In the event that demand exceeds the 32 places offered, The selection criteria for student admission will be based on the average grade for the degree, weighted according to the affinity of the degree studied with the Master's degree.

    The weighting factors will be as follows:

    • 1,0 for degrees in Physics, Astrophysics or Astronomy.
    • 0,9 for degrees in Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering.
    • 0,8 for degrees in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering and related degrees.

    In any case, regardless of the grade completed, Applicants must meet the requirement of having acquired the previously indicated training in Physics
