Admission profile

The admission profile is the knowledge, skills and abilities of the students who access the degree.

The Master's degree will also allow access to graduates who meet the requirements of Article 16 of RD 1393/2007 and who also have the required B1 level of English.

As for the admission profiles, it is expected that future students of the Master's Degree will have one of the following profiles: Graduate in Tourism; graduates or graduates in Tourism, Business Administration and Management (ADE), Business, Economics, Law, Geography or Sociology from Spanish universities who want to complete their training by specialising in the field of tourism. Also graduates or graduates in other fields who wish to reorient their training and professional specialisation towards the field of tourism. Other graduates or graduates in active service who wish to improve their training in or towards the field of tourism. The prior knowledge required corresponds to that taught in the Tourism degree at ULL.

Graduation profile

The graduate profile is the skills, knowledge and abilities that the student must have acquired upon completion of the degree. This information is included in the section on competencies/learning outcomes defined for the title.

The graduate of this master's degree will therefore be a graduate with specialized and advanced training with professional capacity and qualification.

The training offered by the ULL Master's Degree in Tourism Management and Planning is adapted to the current conditions of transformation of tourism activity and to the high demands for quality, competitiveness and sustainability of companies and destinations. It is a master's degree that guides students towards professional and research specialization with a clearly multidisciplinary profile.
We train professionals who are prepared to make decisions in positions of responsibility in companies, activities and institutions managing destinations, capable of responding to the demands of sustainability, diversification and quality of tourism markets. Graduates will be sufficiently trained to apply methods, instruments and practices for the development and efficient management of tourism activities. In addition, they will have knowledge to facilitate the incorporation of technological solutions in the management of establishments, activities and tourist destinations.
