The Master's Final Project (TFM) subject is compulsory and aims to develop and evaluate in an integrated manner a large number of basic, general and specific skills of the degree, as can be seen in the Teaching Guide corresponding.
The TFM involves the completion of an independent and personal piece of work by the student, carried out and defended individually under the supervision of one or two tutors, in accordance with the regulations of the Official Teaching Regulations for Master's Degrees at the ULL, and the Regulations and Standards for the Presentation of the TFMs for the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
The tribunals in charge of evaluating the TFM will assess the scope of the acquisition of the competencies of the degree and learning outcomes through the templates, forms and/or evaluation reports established in the Regulations and Standards for the Presentation of the TFM of the Master in Industrial Engineering.
General requirements for the completion of the TFM
In order to complete the Master's Final Project, students must meet the following general requirements:
To ensure that the TFM is adapted to the characteristics of the Degree, students have the guidance and direction of their work through one or two tutors, at least one of whom must belong to the ULL teaching staff with teaching in the master's degree and whose area of knowledge teaches in the degree, depending on the topic chosen by the students.
The Academic Committee of the Master's Degree will approve the topics that students may request to carry out their TFM, their tutors, the assignment criteria, the composition of the evaluation committee, which, if applicable, will judge the corresponding TFM and some basic rules of style, length and structure that the TFM document or report must have.
In order to improve the development of the subject and facilitate the preparation of the TFM document and its public defense, specific criteria are established that can be consulted in the Teaching Guide of the Subject, in the Regulations and Rules for the Presentation of the TFM of the Master in Industrial Engineering and in the Regulations of Official Teaching of the University Master's Degree of the ULL. More information.
The Master's Thesis will conclude with the defence of the thesis, which must be public. The tribunals will be made up of three members: president, secretary and member. Both the president and the secretary must be members of the ULL teaching staff who teach in the master's degree.
