Access

Access is the set of requirements necessary to pursue the teachings

university. Completion of these requirements is prior to admission to the courses to be taken.

They are governed by the provisions of articles 16 and 17 of ROYAL DECREE 1393/2007, of October 29, amended by Royal Decree 861/2010.
Article 16. Access to official Master's degree courses.
To access official Master's courses, it will be necessary to be in possession of an official Spanish university degree or another one issued by a higher education institution in the European Higher Education Area that authorizes access to Master's courses in the country issuing the degree.
Likewise, graduates from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area may enter the program without having their degrees recognized, provided the University has verified that they certify a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that they qualify for access to postgraduate studies in the country issuing the degree. Under no circumstances will this entail recognition of the applicant's previous degree or its recognition for purposes other than pursuing Master's degrees.
Article 17. Admission to official Master's degree courses.
Students may be admitted to a Master's degree in accordance with the specific requirements and merit assessment criteria that, where applicable, are specific to the Master's degree or established by the university.
The University will include admission procedures and requirements in the curriculum, which may include specific prior training requirements in some disciplines.
· These systems and procedures must include, in the case of students with specific educational needs arising from disabilities, appropriate support and counseling services, which will assess the need for possible curricular adaptations, alternative pathways, or studies.
· Admission will not, under any circumstances, entail any modification to the academic and, where applicable, professional qualifications corresponding to the applicant's previous degree, nor will it entail its recognition for purposes other than pursuing Master's degrees.
· These access requirements are included in the current Regulations for Official Master's Degree Courses at the University of La Laguna.

Furthermore, the University of La Laguna, in compliance with the provisions of Decree 168/2008, of July 22 (Official Gazette of the Canary Islands No. 154, of August 1), establishes that accreditation of a B1 level of English will be an essential requirement to access this master's degree.
