Today it is more than evident that the field of cultural assets, tourism and cultural leisure is becoming one of the main and most solid economic assets of our immediate future. Cultural Heritage, its management and safeguarding, is thus presented as an innovative and continuously developing area, repeatedly demanded by society and its administrations, which requires specialized studies that fill the gaps between the protection of heritage resources and their proper management, use and enhancement. These are the reasons that led the University of La Laguna to create the Master in Use and Management of Cultural Heritage, to fully respond to the training of professionals in one of the emerging areas with the most future and which requires the best training of those who have to manage the structures, content and tasks in entities, organizations and institutions, public and private, whose purpose is the care, defense and dissemination of heritage, assets and cultural services. The curriculum is characterized by a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach, with a clear professional orientation, in which seminars, workshops, assignments and projects led by a diverse cast of professors of a proven level and experience converge, and with a period dedicated to external internships in organizations and institutions of the sector.
