The robustness and guaranteed success of this project are based on the application of the results and experience acquired in its predecessors: BIÓPOLIS (INTERREG IIIC), BIOPHARMAC, and BIOTRANSFER. The primary objective is to implement a profitable biotechnology research model in which the R&D activity of the participating partners is aligned with the needs of companies or serves as a driving force for their creation. In other words, to PROMOTE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER. This project arises from the need to address the weak points in the life cycle of a biotechnology product or service, to efficiently connect research with the market, thus transforming it into a job and business opportunity. Universities typically only address the initial phases of the cycle, and the results do not mature, making them difficult to transfer to the business world using standard mechanisms. And that is precisely where we want to focus our efforts.
