A modular device for use as a container and display stand, which unfolds by folding down two sides using hinges, and which does not need to be fixed to the surface.

Engineering and Architecture

The invention consists of a transportable geometric body when unfolded. It is a seven-sided polyhedron or rectangular prism with irregular pentagonal bases, possessing a very simple transition mechanism by which it opens and transforms from a completely closed and hollow volume to a different form, formed by six fixed vertical panels attached to three faces, which remains on the same horizontal plane when fully open.

Competitive advantage

This way of opening the object allows six planes that were part of its initial configuration to remain vertical and rigid.

The device is a modular piece that does not need additional parts to fulfill its functionality.
