Area of Electrical, Electronic and Automatic Engineering (IEL)

It encompasses the complete thematic content of classical and control engineering, and partially, electronic engineering. Classical electrical engineering includes research topics related to the design and use of electrical machines (generators, transformers, and motors), the processes of generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy, and its management. Control engineering includes topics related to systems modeling, the application of control theory to systems, and the development and use of automatic process control devices and equipment for industrial and domestic applications (including robots and home automation systems). Finally, electronic engineering includes the development of electronic devices, integrated circuits, and electronic equipment and systems primarily for industrial and domestic use, excluding those intended for communications.
