Pathogen capture and inactivation device

Sciences

System for the capture and inactivation of pathogenic biological agents in fluids (gases or liquids) by passing the fluid through one or more moldable and configurable treatment zones.

Furthermore, its configuration with different types of zones, steps and stages, capture and inactivation of chemical substances, additives, humidification, as well as other processes that require the passage of a fluid through different treatment elements.

In one of its simplest configurations, the system is capable of deactivating microorganisms in an airflow with 99.99% efficiency, including SARS-CoV-2. Should new pathogens emerge in the future, the device can be redefined to deactivate them.

Competitive advantage

Cash. It captures and inactivates pathogens very quickly and effectively, even in a continuous flow.

Versatile. It is modular and configurable depending on the type of pathogens to be treated. It can be used in fixed installations as well as mobile or portable installations.

Sure. Safe handling since the pathogen is inactive. Safety valves for pressure control, allowing direct contact with the patient.

Low production cost. Simple manufacturing with 3D printers.

– Application as a testing system compatible with multiple disinfectant agents.
