Porous microstructure with interconnected channels of perfectly defined geometry and endowed with mechanical stability at high temperatures

Sciences

This involves preparing a material with interconnected channels of perfectly defined geometry that exhibit mechanical stability at high temperatures. The perfectly hollow channels within this material are created using a combination of an organic polymer mesh, solvents, plasticizers, and powder of the material to be molded. The incorporation of porous channels through inorganic materials allows for the easy conduction of combustible and/or oxidizing gases, as well as facilitating the infiltration of these channels with other substances such as catalysts, interconnectors, biomaterials, etc.
