Journal of Canary Island History, so named since 1957, was founded in 1924 with the title of History Magazine. Under the guidance of the History and Art History faculty at the University of La Laguna (ULL), this series constitutes a fundamental element for understanding Canarian historiography from the beginning of the 20th century. Through it, one can observe the trends, motivations, and interests that have shaped the fields of historical studies in the Canary Islands. It provides a framework for knowledge and new lines of research related to the islands from prehistory to the present day.
