The process of artistic creation: dialogue with the ineffable

This study examines the relationship between art and the sensory and emotional world. It documents a working hypothesis that argues that those aspects of art that cannot be explained through reasoning fall within the sphere of our sensory experience, and that this includes not only the five senses that connect us to the outside world (exteroceptive senses), but also those that inform us, in a diffuse way, about our inner world (interoceptive senses).
