Women scientists in 20th-century genetics

This book aims, through the names of individuals, to draw attention to the truly valuable contributions of numerous women who, throughout the 20th century, enriched a fundamental field of research: genetics. We have chosen women born up to the early 1950s as our protagonists, in order to give due recognition to a group whose work, unjustly undervalued, has been neither negligible nor second-rate.
