Female discourse in the Spanish post-war novel: Carmen Laforet, Ana María Matute and Elena Quiroga

The study carried out by Ms. Rosa Isabel Galdona Pérez offers a new vision of the Spanish post-war novel written by women, with special emphasis on the work of Carmen Laforet, Ana María Matute and Elena Quiroga.

The fresh perspective from which the author approaches the writings of the three aforementioned women writers gives rise, in turn, to a new critical perspective on their works. This innovative approach may, however, provoke disagreement, although such disagreement is inherent in all research. Nevertheless, the depth of the analysis, the breadth of the work covered, and the extensive bibliography are all noteworthy aspects to consider when evaluating this study.
