These classrooms are used for teaching in the 4 current degree programs, both in the morning (2nd and 3rd year courses of Technical Engineering), as well as in the afternoon (1st year courses of Technical Engineering, 4th and 5th year of Computer Engineering and Master's), and are considered adequate for the current enrollment of 649 students.
Laboratories
Some of the specialized laboratories are located within the center's main building, while others are situated in departmental offices and on the ESIT campus. All of them are fully accessible to people with reduced mobility who require wheelchair use.
Specific Laboratories
The following tables provide information about the laboratories, grouped by department. In addition to the laboratory's name, they specify its size, the number of workstations, a brief description of the equipment used, and an estimate of the budget allocated in the last academic year for updating and maintaining its resources. This maintenance is funded from the respective departments' budgets.

General Laboratories. Computing Center
The following is a list of the computer labs available at ESIT, used both for practical instruction in courses and for free use by students. These labs make up the area known as the ESIT Computing Center. In addition to the name and number of workstations available in each lab, its primary use is indicated: either for teaching activities or for independent student work.

| TOTAL: 16 classrooms | TOTAL: 256 computers | ||
As indicated in the first column, some of these classrooms have been provided by companies/organizations external to the University through collaboration agreements.
In addition, there are several carrels (offices for students to work in groups) equipped with computers and communication infrastructure. Currently, there are three carrels with one computer each and Project Room 1 with three Macs. These offices are in high demand for group work as well as for the development of current Final Year Projects.
The total number of computers currently available to students is 266, with an approximate ratio of one computer for every two students enrolled at ESIT, one of the highest ratios in the country. Furthermore, the classrooms are adequately sized for the number of students expected in the practical groups for the various subjects. Access to the facilities is free for all ESIT members during continuous hours, 11 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
It is also worth noting that all computers have broadband internet access, with a state-of-the-art communications infrastructure that provides network connection speeds of 1Gbps.
Data Processing Center
To support all the equipment and services offered at ESIT, there is a Data Processing Center (DPC), approximately 70m², which consists of the following resources:
| Equipment | Description |
|---|---|
| Intelligent fire detection and extinguishing system | Fire protection system |
| Environmental monitoring system | Temperature and humidity control |
| Air conditioning system | Room thermal control |
| Emergency power supply via motor | High availability of services |
| Uninterruptible power supply system | |
| Ten state-of-the-art servers | They provide services to ESIT users |
| Storage system | Manages the integrity of user information |
Library
The ESIT library facilities are located on the first and second floors of the north wing of the School building, where they occupy a total area of 1,465 m²² (771 m² on the first floor and 694 m² in the second), and a usable area of 1,268 m². Both floors have their own access doors, and are connected internally by stairs, and externally by elevators, stairs and ramps.
There is a significant number of network sockets (each accompanied by electrical sockets) available to users.
The book and magazine storage area is located in a central cylinder with four levels, connected by stairs and a freight elevator. It contains 645 meters of shelving for the collection, all of which is freely accessible.
The reading and study rooms have 406 places, of which 261 are located on the first floor (233 study places and 28 computer places) and 145 on the second floor.
The library has eight offices for group work: four with four people and four with six. Users reserve the spaces through an application on the library's website.
Currently, there are approximately eight thousand printed monographs organized by subject according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC). These monographs are acquired by consulting the bibliographies in the course guides for each subject.
Regarding electronic monographs, users have access to the Springer, Safari e-Books and ScienceDirect e-Book platforms, through which they can access titles of specialized works in the field of computer science, mathematics, physics, electronics, etc.
The periodicals collection is electronic, with access to 1,341 journal titles. It can be accessed through the library's website, Punto Q, e-revistas, Tecnología de la Información, and specialized databases.
The services offered by the university library are:
- Online catalog of paper and electronic funds
- Home, interlibrary and intercampus loans
- Laptop loan: PROA
- Shipping service for items: SEA
- CLABE Service: Lightweight Clients for Access to the Electronic Library
