The School of Business and Tourism currently has 14 teaching classrooms and three computer rooms with the following capacities:

All classrooms are equipped with audiovisual equipment to support teaching activities: a video projector with PC connection, an Internet connection point, and video and audio connections for DVD playback.

The Center also has other facilities for holding talks, conferences, research seminars, and workshops, as it is equipped with projection and recording equipment and booths for interpreters and translators: the Graduation Hall with a capacity of 79 people, the Main Auditorium with a capacity of 288 people, and the Boardroom for 168 people. It also has an office for student representatives.

South Campus

Since the 2012-13 academic year, a teaching unit has been located in the town of Adeje. There, theoretical instruction is delivered simultaneously via videoconference, while practical instruction for the subjects of the Tourism Degree is delivered in person.

The available infrastructure is:

  • Three classrooms with videoconferencing service.
  • A computer lab with 25 workstations.
  • A room for group work.
  • Preferred study area in the municipal library.
  • An office for secretarial services.
  • A teachers' lounge.

Library

The Business and Tourism School building houses a library with key bibliographic resources for Tourism and Accounting and Finance. It also boasts facilities designed to support the work of all its users, including the following:

  1. A reading room with 536 seats
  2. A newspaper library with 40 reading spaces
  3. Eight offices for group work (“carrels”)
  4. Two repositories, one for periodicals and one for monographs

The library's collection comprises over 50,000 monographs and more than 1,000 periodical titles, of which nearly 500 are still being received. Finally, the library offers the following services:

  1. Consult in the waiting room
  2. Interlibrary loan
  3. Reprographics (with two self-service photocopiers)
  4. Training activities for users, delivered by qualified library staff
  5. Laptop loan

Computer resources

The School of Business and Tourism has three computer labs, staffed by computer science interns whose main responsibility is equipment maintenance and assisting users (students and faculty). The labs are equipped with laser printers and rear-projection devices.

Each classroom has 18 computers, dedicated in a coordinated manner to teaching activities and free access for users; the configuration of the computers is designed for their proper academic use; in addition to the Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org office suites, the computers have statistical programs and other applications with a clear orientation towards economics and business management, commonly used in the subjects taught.

The classrooms are configured on a local network and have two Windows XP servers, which provide security, backup, storage, and joint printer management services, and a Linux server, dedicated to storing and managing user accounts, tasks that are carried out in collaboration with the Free Software Office. The classrooms are connected to the university network, providing direct internet access. Entry is free for students of the Center from October to July, during the hours when scholarship recipients are present.

Likewise, there is a WiFi classroom set up so that students can work with their own laptops.
