Company Week

The Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism considers it essential for training in the subjects taught therein to establish a series of annual conferences, which are called COMPANY WEEK, as a vehicle for connecting future graduates with the economic and social life of our immediate environment.

These conferences have a long tradition at the center, addressing each year the topics considered most relevant at that time. Therefore, in each edition, we take into account different perspectives, the current socio-economic situation, and the challenges we face in both the near and long term.

For the success of our conference, we rely on the invaluable presence and collaboration of experienced and highly regarded business leaders, as well as those social and economic stakeholders who play a prominent role in our island community. Equally important is the invaluable collaboration of the various departments at our University, which provide us with access to renowned experts in their respective fields.

Business Week is not only designed for our final-year students, but we invite all students of the Faculty to participate, an invitation that is extended to the rest of the students of our University, as well as to groups interested in the different topics that are presented each year.

The spirit of the Company Week It is to serve all university students as a gateway to the reality they will encounter in their future professional and personal lives, so they can understand how to assess the economic and social situation they will face, and the possibility of aligning their skills and training to meet the most demanding social needs; needs that are dynamic and active at any given time.

The value of these conferences is even greater, considering that in recent years they have been organized entirely by the Student Delegation from our Faculty. As a demonstration of the professional maturity that our future graduates are acquiring, by having to demonstrate many of the skills they have acquired.

We remind you that this activity is included in the Official Catalogue of Activities of the University of La Laguna, to be carried out each academic year. Therefore, students who wish to obtain official recognition of the ECTS credits earned must register for these sessions and attend at least 80% of the sessions, as well as complete the assigned activity.

You will be able to find information about the Company Week which is celebrated every year, here.
