Faculty of Education Day

This year, the Faculty of Education Day will be celebrated on Thursday, November 27th, and will have as its theme "Education in the Canary Islands / Canary Islands in Education".

The opening ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m. in the Auditorium of Module A, followed by the inaugural presentation, "Beliefs and Data on Education in the Canary Islands," at 10:00 a.m. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., refreshments (Canarian-style snacks) will be served, after which we will move to the inner courtyard of the Central Building (next to the cafeteria) to enjoy a socio-cultural activity about Canarian culture until 1:30 p.m.

In the afternoon, the program will resume at 4:00 PM, again in the Auditorium of Module A, with a dramatized reading of folk tales. At 5:30 PM, a round table discussion will be held on the history of the Canary Islands as seen through social media. At 7:00 PM, the traditional tribute to teachers retiring in the 2024-25 academic year will take place, along with the presentation of diplomas to the students who received the Extraordinary Award for the 2024-25 academic year. The closing ceremony will be held at 7:30 PM with a performance by “Las Percuteras de Garaldea,” and the event will conclude with a toast at 8:00 PM.

Admission is free until capacity is reached. A certificate of attendance is required to confirm your attendance. registration (Attendance at a minimum of 3 hours of certifiable activities will amount to 0.25 ECTS).
