The doctoral program follows the Regulations for Official Doctoral Studies at the ULL, which, in its Chapter III, Articles 23 to 32, refers to the presentation and reading of doctoral theses, and is in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 99/2011. In this sense, the prior requirements that must be met by the research project, the proposal and appointment of the external evaluators and the thesis evaluation committee, the defense of the thesis, the different possible mentions, the joint supervision and the modality of thesis by compilation of publications are regulated.
