University Institute of Regional Development

The University Institute of Regional Development (Instituto Universitario de Desarrollo Regional - IUDR) of the Universidad de La Laguna is a centre for research and specialised training. The institute’s main priority is to foster an open-access research platform of the highest academic calibre within its wide range of respective knowledge areas. Currently, Universidad de La Laguna professors and researchers from the fields of Law, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research and Computer Science, and Geography are affiliated with the institute. The research activities they pursue also see them collaborating with other public entities and national and international universities.
