The curriculum for the Bachelor's Degree in Classical Studies at the University of La Laguna comprises a total of 240 credits distributed across four years of study, each year consisting of 60 ECTS credits and divided into two semesters. The distribution of subjects is shown in the following table, including required and elective courses, external placements, and the final degree project.
The curriculum is structured on two levels: modules and subjects. The subjects have been grouped into modules that constitute a thematic organizational unit.
The courses are divided into four 60-credit courses, split into two semesters, encompassing all the theoretical and practical training students must acquire. This distribution reflects the Faculty's organization of the course offerings and is intended as a guide only. Students may take courses at any time and in any order they choose, subject to the limitations of the Academic Progress and Retention Regulations and the requirements for External Internships and the Final Degree Project.
All the subjects offered are semester-long and worth 6 ECTS, except for four of the optional subjects which will be worth 3 ECTS and the Company Internships with 12 ECTS.
In the second, third, and fourth years, students, in addition to the required credits, must take elective credits, corresponding to five elective courses worth six and three credits, chosen from those offered and listed in the table. These elective courses are offered in the second semester of the second and third years and in the first semester of the fourth year.
