Degree in Social Work

Internships

Internships in companies, organizations, and institutions are mandatory for official degrees offered at the University of La Laguna and provide students with exposure to real-life situations, complementing their training with the reality of the working world.

Internships are conceived as a privileged space for applying the knowledge acquired throughout their studies and for developing the skills students are expected to develop. They are carried out in centers and entities providing social services, as well as in various public and private organizations where professional functions specific to social work are carried out.

During these sessions, the different realities and problems addressed in social work will be studied, as well as the analysis of the response to each of them. Internships provide direct contact with real-life situations and provide an insight into the various spaces in which professional activity can be developed.
