The Recognition of Credits implies the acceptance by the University of the credits obtained, taking into account what is established in the Verification/Modification Report of the Degree and the provisions of the applicable regulations, that is, Regulations on Recognition, Adaptation and Transfer of Credits from the University of La Laguna (modified at the Governing Council meeting of 19 March 2021), through:
This regulation establishes that the number of credits cannot exceed 15% of the total credits that make up the study plan. The recognition of these credits will not include a grade for them, so they will not count for the purposes of grading the record. Taking into account the above, the maximum number of credits recognisable for professional experience may not exceed 9 ECTS credits, taking into account the duration of the experience (60 ECTS credits). Since this is the maximum possible and, in addition, the aforementioned regulation establishes that recognition must be made for complete subjects (article 4.2), in view of the size in ECTS of the subjects, a maximum of 6 ECTS has been established that will be subject to possible recognition for work and professional experience, corresponding to the PE. Applicants will be required to provide the corresponding certificates of work activity and the necessary documentation to verify the skills acquired in their professional practice and to determine whether they could stop taking the External Internship course from the study plan. A minimum of one and a half years will be required. of professional practice in the corresponding field for the purposes of being able to process the corresponding application for recognition. The Academic Committee will examine applications for credit recognition, based on professional experience and professional category, in order to provide appropriate information on them. Recognition will be in accordance with the position and activity performed in the public administration and/or private sector where the applicant has worked. professional activity and which allows establishing that they have led to the acquisition of the skills that are worked on in the corresponding subjects, subject to recognition. To do so, it will be necessary to prove and justify with documentation, through a Report and the corresponding certifications of working life, the experience in the work and professional performance that allows the acquisition of the skills specific to the degree to be assessed. The academic committee may resort to external advice in those cases in which it requires it.
LThe credits corresponding to the Master's Final Project subjects may not be subject to recognition (Art. 6.2 of the RD 1393/2007 of the organization of official university education).
