The FIMUCITÉ Film Scoring Academy This is one of FIMUCITÉ's parallel activities, held annually as part of the festival's commitment to specialized training in music creation for audiovisual media. It invites international music composers from film, documentary, television, video games, and other media to share key aspects of their professional and creative development. Experts in audiovisual language are also invited to develop analytical tools that allow for a deeper understanding of its specific characteristics.

This time the format is adapted to a university extension course, in which expository masterclasses will be combined with interactive round tables and participatory workshops.

It will be held at the Espacio Mutua Tinerfeña in La Laguna on July 1 and 4, and at the Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on July 8, 9, 10 and 12.

Academic Director: Débora Madrid Brito. Assistant Professor, Department of Fine Arts, University of La Laguna.

Coordination: Iris Roger Castro. Production: FIMUCITÉ.
