Literary, sculptural and pictorial figures. Towards some intermedial keys to read the work of Marga Gil Roësset
Abstract
The hypothesis of this work is based on the presence of intermedial keys –sculpture, painting, poetry–, as we will see some specific and others transversal, between the three plastic media in which Marga Gil Roësset (1908-1932) expresses her sensitivity, her vision of living and, unfortunately, of dying.
First, a series of contextual data are presented and taken into account that can help to understand the content, form and meaning of the multifaceted work of Marga Gil Roësset. The three media in which Marga Gil expressed herself are then analyzed, to try to define in a final section the borders and points of contact between her multiple and original artistic creations.
