The Journal

Bellas Artes: Revista de artes plásticas, estética, diseño e imagen, is an annual interdisciplinary open-access digital publication created and managed by the Department of Fine Arts at the Universidad de La Laguna. The journal publishes original and unpublished research articles, recensions, and monographic issues with the aim of disseminating research results from the field of Fine Arts studies. It is aimed at researchers, educators, students, and anyone particularly interested in Art across its various dimensions.

Special Issues

This journal also publishes special issues. In our case, special issues are exclusively based on monographic format. Special issues are proposed when the topics of interest to the journal have been developed in specific associated forums (congresses, meetings, symposiums), with which the journal has established a publication agreement after their celebration.
