Sources of information for research

The University of La Laguna offers its users access to bibliographic databases in different areas of knowledge.

Multidisciplinary databases.

The most important ones are the following:

Web of Science (WOS): Platform that collects references to the main scientific publications of any discipline of knowledge, both scientific and technological, humanistic and sociological since 1945, essential for supporting research and for recognizing the efforts and advances made by the scientific and technological community.
EBSCOHostIt provides the full text of 8,500 publications, of which more than 4,600 titles are peer-reviewed. It includes full-text documents in PDF format dating back to 1875.
Scopus: A database of medicine, science, technology, and social sciences that contains all relevant literature.
DialnetThis portal compiles and provides access to Hispanic scientific output. It contains documents published in Spain in any language, in Spanish in any country, or on Hispanic topics. It includes journal articles, chapters in edited volumes, doctoral theses, books, etc.
