

Days and times (Beginner level)
· Latin dances 1 (beginner level): Fridays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
· Latin dances 2 (intermediate level): Fridays from 7:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Location
Multipurpose room 2, the facilities of the Sports Service of the ULL.
The basis of this activity is to know, develop, feel, care for and accept one's own body, but also to respect the bodies of other participants. Discrimination based on sex, age, race, morphology, sexual orientation or any other condition is intolerable and grounds for expulsion from the activity, without the right to a refund of the fee, as in the rest of the activities offered in the Sports Service.
Description
The Latin Dances activity consists of dancing individually, in pairs or in groups, in a coordinated manner, following the rhythm of Latin music, and different styles linked to it can be used (salsa, bachata, chachacha, merengue…), going from the simplest to the most complex.
When dancing in pairs or in a group, there is the role of the person who leads or guides, and another, in which the person is guided, and these roles can be rotated, regardless of sex or gender.
Goals
- Improve rhythm and coordination.
- Become familiar with Latin rhythms.
- Have a good time.
- Promote inclusion.
- To demonstrate, through dance, a healthy lifestyle and means of promoting healthy behaviors as opposed to inappropriate behaviors such as the consumption of addictive substances.
