Description

Functional training is ideal for people who want to improve their health through dynamic and enjoyable physical activity, engaging multiple muscle groups and thus improving their physical qualities and motor skills for efficient and safe application in everyday movements. All of this is achieved while also incorporating the social component and motivation. Functional training, therefore, takes a holistic approach to exercise, aiming to improve the body's functionality in all aspects of life.

This activity is led by professionals who will ensure that the exercises are appropriate and optimal for each person, taking into account their individual characteristics, combined with the social motivation that comes from participating in physical activity in a group, sharing a common interest and general objective. Badminton is a racquet sport in which two people or two pairs play on a court divided by a net, trying to hit a shuttlecock (feather) over the net with their racquets so that it lands in the opponent's court. It can be played individually or in pairs. The objective is to make the shuttlecock pass over the net and touch the ground on the opponent's side, or to make the opponent miss.

Goals

  • Improve the ability to perform everyday movements more comfortably, efficiently and safely (e.g., lifting objects, bending down, etc.).
  • Improve basic physical capabilities for greater functionality, strengthening and stabilizing the body.
  • Improve coordination in general and specific motor skills (balance, coordination, etc.) for greater functionality, emphasizing correct technical execution.
  • Prevent injuries.
  • Create a social environment with a shared interest in physical exercise as a healthy and fun activity.
  • Promote healthy habits through physical activity.
