Description
Table tennis began in England, in high society, who on rainy days could not play tennis and began to play PIN-PON in the drawing rooms (Onomatopoeic sound of the ball against the table).
It is an opposition sport played on a table, with the two courts separated by a net. Two players use their respective rackets and a ball that must be passed to the opponent's court after hitting the table. A point is lost if the ball is not passed to the opponent's court.
During the sessions, the beginner group will perform basic training exercises, racket grip, ball-racket control, introduction to forehand-backhand rallies, slice, and an introduction to spin. The advanced group will perform specific table tennis exercises, including combined rallies, topspin, different spins, attack, defense, etc.
The use of sports clothing and footwear is mandatory.
Goals
- To promote the sport, catering to both beginners and advanced players.
- Know the rules, technique, etc. of the game.
