Development of immolative polymers with eco-innovative analytical applications
Development of immolative polymers with eco-innovative analytical applications
The main objective of this project is the synthesis of various immolative polymers that can be used as smart materials in analytical laboratories across different fields for the extraction of a wide variety of analytes (including various emerging contaminants) from different types of matrices (environmental, food, and biomedical). The aim is to synthesize new sorbents with the same extraction capacity as conventional solid-phase polymeric sorbents and that are capable of partial or complete degradation after use, thus contributing to the development of "Green Chemistry" and, more generally, to more sustainable development (eco-innovation).
