Agriculture Area (AGR)

Scientific objectives related to plant science, crop management, and agroforestry system management, including soil-plant interactions, crop physiology and productivity, plant breeding, diseases, pests, and weed science, as well as other areas within the field of Agricultural Economics and Policy. Methodologically, approaches ranging from conventional methods in Agroforestry Engineering to the most recent ones derived from Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Electronics, and Nanotechnologies, among others, are included. Herbaceous and woody crops and forest systems are studied, with research ranging from the agroecosystem and population levels down to the molecular level.
