Chemical Technology Area (TQ)

Research aimed at improving the design or operation of the physical, chemical, or biochemical processes that comprise industrial processes, as well as researching new alternative processes. It also includes R&D in environmental technologies and processes aimed at reducing pollution at its source or mitigating its effects. All of this is done using sustainability criteria, that is, combining economic, social, and environmental viability.
