History and Heritage
The Macaronesia collection is an electronic publication of the inter-university Doctoral program “Atlantic Islands”, of which the universities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Madeira, Azores and La Laguna are part, verified by ANECA and the Portuguese CAE.
To date, three issues have been published by the publication secretariats of the respective universities.
Issue number 4, which corresponds to the University of La Laguna, consists of two sections, in addition to the institutional words and a presentation by the coordinator of the Program at the ULL.
The first block consists of seven chapters authored by professors of the Program, in some cases as a continuation of the Research Seminars and in others, unpublished works that open new lines of research.
The second part is a synthesis of the theses defended in the biennium 2021-2022, as well as the Training and Research Seminars.
