Faculty Board and Committees
The Faculty Board of Social Sciences and Communication is the highest representative body of the members of the Center, with its own powers in matters of organization, coordination and management.
It is made up of 60 members representing the different university groups: teaching and research staff, administrative and service staff, and students.
Among its functions are:
- To define and approve the Center's policy of action, both in terms of teaching and research, and in terms of its administrative and economic regime.
- To approve the teaching organization plans of the Center and to propose and report the modification of its study plans.
- Approve the distribution of funds allocated to the Center charged to the University Budgets.
- To supervise and be aware of the performance of the collegiate and individual governing bodies of the Center and its services, in accordance with the provisions of the second section of this article.
- To perform any other functions assigned to him by the higher governing bodies of the university or recognized by the current regulations.
- And, in general, the other functions provided for the collegiate bodies in article 139 of the University Statutes.
