Collaboration agreements
The University of La Laguna has maintained a collaboration agreement with the General Council of the Judiciary since 2001. As a result of this agreement, law students have been able to visit courts and tribunals. This activity was part of the Procedural Law I and II courses and was coordinated by the teaching staff of the corresponding department.
Currently, visits to the Courts and Tribunals are part of the External Practices subject of the Law Degree and continue to be coordinated by the Procedural Law Area.
Coordinator of the agreement: Dr. Tomás Vicente López-Fragoso Álvarez (tfragoso@ull.es)
This Centre was created in 1981 through an agreement between the University of La Laguna and the European Commission, and was attached to this University through its Chair of Public and Private International Law of the Faculty of Law.
Under this Agreement, the European Documentation Centre is the depository for the Official Publications of the European Union, sent free of charge by the European Commission, and has free access to EU databases. In return, the University of La Laguna (ULL) undertakes to preserve, catalogue, and index this documentation in order to make it accessible to the entire university community and the general public.
It is currently part of:
- The European Networks: European Documentation Centres y Europe Direct
- The Spanish Network of CDEs Centers in Spain
The European Documentation Centre is a public resource. Anyone from the university community or outside of it can consult its documentary and bibliographic holdings and access external resources.
The aim of the European Documentation Centres is to respond to the needs of students, researchers and citizens by making information about the European Union and its policies accessible.
